4th annual 4 X FEST
August 21st 2010
We will be hosting our 4th annual 4 X FEST, including a truck and Jeep show on Saturday Aug. 21st, at the Southview Baptist church grounds located at 13th & Arapahoe, in Lincoln Nebraska. (just north of 14th and hywy 2) Local and national dealers, vendors and owners will be bringing their stuff to show off and you can register for FREE door prizes with a can of food or other non-perishable food item to benefit the Peoples City Mission in our "Stuff the Trucks" food drive. It will be a good family event with food fun and stuff for the kids too. "bouncy room" and the "Kids Crawl" with the NSCA. Come on out and meet other wheelers, see what local clubs have to offer and take your rig over the Monster Energy, obstacle challenge. There will also be a registry table for other prizes and upcoming club events. We will post up the events when they are decided upon so you may register with us online.
Active Kids project
"Active Kids"
Our latest public service venture will be taking us to the hospital. Not for anything serious, but to get connected with kids who are hospitalized or dealing with a disability that limits their physical activty. We are currently raising funds for a total of 6 (remote control) RC Crawlers that we can take into the hosiptals (or get the kids on the grounds) and let these kids have some fun. This is a great way to get them involved in off-roading as well as into a hobby where they won't be limited by physical ability. Think about it, slow and steady, teaches them control, and can be done indoors. Tie a piece of string to it and if it flops over, you just real it in and start over. We are very excited about this new venture and feel it is a great opportunity to reach not just the youth in the hospital or with disabilities but others as well.
Next EXPO, we will have a "Kids Crawl" on the rock pile.
Estimated funds for this venture are around $4000, which is much less than the EXPO expenses. We should be able to raise this amount with your help. Please donate towards this if you can, the 4-wheel interests of the future starts today.

As of now we are currently working on our Proposals for both sponsorships, volunteers and permissions. We have had a lot of interest in this program so please pray that all the road blocks will be over come and that donations and sponsorships will be plentiful. Thank you, sincerley, CORA, mngmt.
